Installation of the tool: The installation of the tool is combined with the configuration process. The installation itself is very short and quite easy. The installation shows a few inconsistencies, e.g. in the language of the user interface or different names for functions. The installer does not provide advanced options and cannot be influenced with regard to kind or amount of information. The design is based on the windows operating system.
Configuration of the tool: The configuration process is mostly comprehensible and generally easy to learn. The process is generally consistent. The process can be influenced with regard to different filter tasks and the kind of information can be influenced in an adequate way. The overall look and feel is appealing and joyful.
Usage of the tool: The product provides no options to react when a web site has been blocked. The alert message cannot be customised and is not worded with respect to children's capability of understanding. The reporting is well comprehensible.

Customize of the webpage filtering is possible by by default age profile or by individual choice of content categories. The parent can indicate specific URLs to be blocked (creation of a black list) or allowed (creation of a white list) by the filter despites the selected categories. It is possible to block pages or the user communication activities when containing specific keywords. It is possible to monitor web 2.0 applications like Facebook, Twitter, Windows Life Messenger or YouTube.
