Configuration of the tool: The user is guided thorough an initial configuration, including the set-up of user profiles and the installation of an iOS profile directly in the app. Further configuration is web-based and the dashboard provides a good overview of the various functions. Each function can be configured individually and possibilities to individualise the filtering process fulfil the users’ expectations.
Once the app is uninstalled, the iOS profile is removed automatically.
Usage of the tool: The alert message is designed appealingly and is understandable for children as well as adults. The reporting is very detailed and shown in various statistics. It includes information on the content, popularity, trustworthiness, and child safety of the visited websites.

The tool is easy to use and offers the same functions as the PC tool: Web-based configuration enables the set-up of one user profile for various devices and the remote management of the tool.
It offers various functions, for example, filtering via categories and the possibility to create URL based black and white lists, time restriction, or Safe Search. Furthermore, it is possible to monitor the children's activities on the web. The filter offers the function to block webmail, social media and streaming.
